Ferran Ramon-Cortés

Ferran Ramon-Cortés (Barcelona, 1962) got his degree in Economics and Business from ESADE. His professional career took off in the marketing field, although he soon moved towards communication and publicity. He worked for nineteen years in a multinational communications company holding diverse management positions until January 2008, when he decided to veer his professional life from this course by joining PARADIGMA FCM, a local agency, and founding his own institute for personal communications training.

At present he combines his consultancy work for PARADIGMA FCM with his training commitments, organizing and directing workshops and seminars in companies, institutions and organizations. He has managed to proceed with academic work as a guest professor at different universities: URLL, UB, UAB, UN, UdG, UOC and ESADE.

What ten years ago began as his in-depth study on personal communications has now become his specialized field of knowledge, leading him to write his first book, La isla de los 5 faros, which was published in 2005 by Integral (RBA). Since then he has published Cuaderno de bitácora, Virus, Conversaciones con Max and El premio. He participates with diverse mass media (L'ofici de viure on Catalunya Ràdio and Via Lliure on RAC1) on a regular basis, and he and other contributants write articles for the weekly supplement of the El País newspaper. He has been the author of the “Comunicarse” column in the Mente Sana magazine since its very creation.
